	National Nature Reserves (NNRs)
	Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs)
	Local Nature Reserves (LNRs)
	County Wildlife Sites (CWSs)
	Roadside Nature Reserves (RNRs)
	Managed Nature Reserves

Approximately 400 sites have been identified so far, with most of these having been designated as County Wildlife Sites (CWSs).
