How to find us
By car: Lings Nature Reserve is easily accessible from the A43 or A45, not far from the Weston Favell shopping centre. From the Northampton centre, take the A4500 Wellingborough road. Go past Weston Favell Shopping Centre and junction with A43 towards Kettering. Turn left at mini-roundabout onto Lings Way. The wood is signposted on right off of Lings Way. Park in outer car park or follow track to Lings House for parking near the office and Environmental Centre. There is a 2 metre height restriction bar at the reserve entrance. Please call the office on arrival to open it.
By bike: Lings Nature Reserve is near National Cycle Network Route 6 and a local traffic-free route. For more details visit the Sustrans website at www.sustrans.org.uk and type postcode ‘NN3 8BE’
By public transport: There is a railway station in central Northampton from where you can get a taxi or the number 9 or 9a Stagecoach bus to the bus station. From the Bus Station you can catch a number 1 (Bay 10) or a 45 or 46 (Bay 8) Stagecoach bus to the centre (takes about ½ an hour). Ask to get off on Lings Way and walk to the Centre from there.
