Size: 2.63 ha (6.46 acres) three quarter mile walk in along tarmac and sandy tracks. Access can be muddy due to horses. Reserve generally level but ant hills present. Grazing animals at certain times of year

Directions

Northampton 4 miles. Take A428 out of Northampton. Just before Harlestone Village, park by entrance to Harlestone Firs in lay-by on same side as Garden Centre. Cross road with care and take tarmac track opposite through the Firs. After 600 m turn left onto sandy track, past sawmill to railway line and reserve. Also accessible on foot from Church Brampton.

Northampton to Rugby bus stops at Harlestone then 1 mile walk.

Midshires Way long distance footpath passes close to this site.
