Employee volunteering

Why not try your hand at coppicing in an ancient woodland close to Cambridge, installing new boardwalks at a wetland in the Nene Valley, Northamptonshire, or make hay while the sun shines in a meadow near Luton?

Employee volunteering with the Wildlife Trust is a fantastic opportunity for staff team building and personal development outside of the normal working environment. It is also a great, interactive way for companies to make a positive and practical difference to local wildlife.

Tasks suitable for employee volunteering occur throughout the year, but higher numbers are available during the autumn and winter months, when most habitat management takes place.

Full training will be given on the day, and expert Trust staff will be on hand to supervise.

Although there is no formal charge for organising and running a task for your team, we ask companies to make a donation of £50 per person. This donation will help the Wildlife Trust cover the costs of health and safety, tools, equipment and supervision.

To discuss how your company, or the company you work for can get involved with employee volunteering, please email Anna Bradnam at anna.bradnam (at) wildlifebcnp.org or telephone on 01954 713549.
