What’s new?
8 June 2007
Come to Peterborough’s BBC Springwatch Festival on Sunday 10 June!
This family-friendly day will focus on all aspects of wildlife, conservation and the environment
Come along and enjoy an action packed day at Central Park – with live music, great food and a whole host of hands-on activities and challenges to try.
Children’s TV personality, Mark Speight, will be at the Festival in the afternoon letting his creative juices run riot. Throughout the day, there will be plenty to keep children of all ages amused; they can try out the new Boogie Beebies Dance and Song (as seen on CBeebies), take part in the CBBC Tracker’s Workshop and join the CBeebies Spotter’s Club. From close up encounters with wildlife to making bird cakes, there is something for everyone!
In the BBC area, visitors will have the opportunity to sign up to ‘Do One Thing’ as part of the BBC’s year-long ‘Breathing Places Year of Action’ campaign. There will be a film crew on site too – so you might even get on the TV!
