Book your Bedfordshire school visits now!

Avoid disappointment by booking early

Over the years the Wildlife Trust has welcomed large numbers of students to our environmental education centres at Randalls Farm and Priory Country Park. This year due to changes in funding and subsequent reduced staffing levels, we are able to offer fewer possible dates for guided visits over the summer. There are still a few available dates at both of our centres and these will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Please book now to avoid disappointment.

If we are not able to meet your request for a summer booking, do not despair!  We would like to encourage you to visit our sites on a self-guiding basis. We are committed to providing equipment, worksheet templates, basic risk assessments and on-site contact. Groups will have access to all of the facilities on site, including toilets, and Trust staff will provide training and orientation for you and your group leaders in advance of your visit. If you are interested in this self-guiding alternative then please contact us for further information. Please note that self guiding visits must still be booked in advance.

A new joint Bedfordshire Environmental Education Service will be launched in September 2008 and will contain lots of new education and training opportunities for you to participate in at the two education centres.

Please note that bookings that are already confirmed in writing will be honoured. From now on all bookings for both Priory and Randalls Farm will be taken through Randalls Farm on 01234 768542 and randallsfarm@wildlifebcnp.org

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these changes and look forward to receiving your booking. Thank you for your continued support of the Wildlife Trust’s work to help people of all ages learn about their local wildlife.
