Trust staff take part in wild run
10k run on Sunday 5 April raises funds for wildlife
A brave team from the Wildlife Trust's Cambourne office ran the first ever Cambourne 10K race on 5 April to raise awareness of and money for local wildlife.
Rachel Mortimer (membership), Christa Perry (conservation), Kelly Dickson and Caroline Prout (fundraising) represented The Wildlife Trust and were among 1000 runners taking part.
The course was mostly on Wildlife Trust land, providing a natural and scenic environment for both runners, and over 500 specators who came to cheer them on under the spring sun.
