Have a wild day out with the Wildlife Trust
The Wildlife Trust invites you to join in with the Wildlife Trust and have a wild day out next weekend at Priory Country Park in Bedford.
The Family Fun and Discovery Day will be held on Saturday 25th July between 12-4pm.
There will be a range of activities on offer including mini-beast hunting, wildlife gardening, wool spinning, countryside craft demonstrations, information on bee-keeping and local archaeology.
Visitors are also invited to get creative and be part of a 'Big Art' project. The completed project will then be on display at Priory Country Park's Visitor Centre.
Ruth Brockett, Education and Community Officer at the Wildlife Trust, said: 'It will be a really fun day for the whole family to come and discover Priory Country Park and to learn more about local wildlife. There will also be a live band and food stall. Everyone is very welcome!"
Parking is available. You can also take the No 4 bus from the central bus station.
Donations can be made on the day to support the work of the Wildlife Turst.
