Cherry Hinton Chalk Pits Consultation
Over the last couple of months we have been gathering your ideas on how we can make Cambridge’s newest reserve even better.
Cherry Hinton Chalk Pits reserve, located on Lime Kiln Road, was opened to the public in 2009. The reserve includes three parts – Lime Kiln Close, West Pit and East Pit. With the opinions and ideas of local residents, visitors and experts, we are now planning what activities and information we will provide.
Many people responded to our consultation either through completing an online survey or attending one of the group discussions. A report and recommendations are now being prepared and will be available for you to view in April.
